Skill, not chance
Ever been frustrated by a word-game where the letters just don’t fall your way? There’s no luck-of-the-draw element in CUBEWORD; you choose the cubes you want to use.
The combination of letters on the differently coloured cubes comes from a scientific formula unique to CUBEWORD. So, while any player can re-face any cube, choosing which colour cube to turn can increase or limit later options — for instance, by ‘using up’ versatile letters like E and S.
And with a blank face on every cube, you can nominate any such blank to represent a named letter; so every cube effectively offers you a choice of not five, but 31 letters.
Frustrate your opponent

It’s a ‘tempting’ move. You score 9 and lure your opponent into expanding the game, so offering you more scoring opportunities later on.
Try to anticipate your opponent’s likely response to your moves, thinking two or three moves ahead.
